Collection Tins

We are always looking for new places for one of our collection tins. Do you know of somewhere, or own somewhere, where we could place one of our orange tins?
If the answer is yes, please get in contact with us today by emailing gwh.fundraising@nhs.net

How to manage your collection tin

  1. Placing your tin

Location is key. If possible, choose a location where people can pay with cash and there is a good footfall. For example, a local shop, a hairdressers, a pub/club, or a cafe. Somewhere where, using your local knowledge, you know the tin is likely to receive donations.

When you have identified a suitable location, please advise us by phone or email and the Collection Tin Project Manager will be in contact.

Please note, we must have permission from the owner to place one of our tins.

  2. Collection/Swapping your tin

If possible, check how full the tin is by picking it up & checking that the seal is still intact. If the tin is ready to be emptied, please make contact with our Collection Tin Project Manager who will arrange collection of the tin & replace it with a empty one.

The tin will be counted and added to our charitable funds and we will be able to provide an update to you and the venue to let you know how much has been raised.
