Brighter Futures took home an award at the Our Health Heroes Awards, in London on 7th June!
We’re delighted to announce that we won ‘Best Healthcare Initiative by a UK charity at the Skills for Health ‘Our Health Heroes Awards’ for the Radiotherapy Appeal on Wednesday 7th June.
The national awards for the health and care workforce, Our Health Heroes recognises and honours the hard work carried out daily by thousands of staff across the UK. Nearly half of the health and care workforce is made up of support staff who play a vital role in the delivery of patient care, and improving the lives of the communities they serve. The awards are a perfect opportunity to celebrate their contributions.
Once again, we’d like to thank the brilliant community of Swindon who helped us achieve this incredible milestone.
We’d also like to extend our congratulations to Toni Starr, a retired neonatal sister at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for her lifetime achievement award, also awarded at the same ceremony.
