Take on one of the world’s most iconic marathons while making a difference for patients, families and staff at Great Western Hospital.

Whether you’ve secured your own place through the public ballot or are hoping to run with a Brighter Futures charity place, we’d love to have you on Team Brighter Futures.

Our charity places for the 2027 TCS London Marathon are currently full.

If a place becomes available, we will offer it to people on our waiting list in the order they joined.

Fundraising

We ask all Team Brighter Futures runners to aim to raise a minimum of £1,000.

Every pound you raise helps Brighter Futures continue supporting projects that enhance care for patients across Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Our fundraising team will support you every step of the way with:

    • Dedicated fundraising advice and ideas

    • Resources to help you reach your target

    • Regular encouragement and support

    • Help promoting your fundraising

Yes, if you received a ballot place. If you’ve secured your own place through the public ballot, you can still join Team Brighter Futures by registering using the link above.

Yes. We ask all runners to aim to raise a minimum of £1,000.

Absolutely. Our fundraising team will be with you throughout your marathon journey, providing advice, ideas and encouragement to help you achieve your fundraising goal.

When should I register?

If you already have your own marathon place, we encourage you to register as soon as possible so we can support you from the start of your fundraising journey.
